GROOME TRANSPORTATION®
Do Not Share or Sell My Personal Information
Residents of certain U.S. states have the right under the privacy laws of those states (“State Privacy Laws”) to opt out of the sale and sharing/use for digital advertising of their personal information by a company governed by those State Privacy Laws. The meaning of “sale” under State Privacy Laws in those states is broad and is not limited to sharing personal information in exchange for money.
Under California law, “sharing” means sharing, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating verbally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, your personal information by us to a third party, for cross-context behavioral advertising, for monetary or other valuable consideration. When we use the term “sharing” under this section, we are using it in the narrow context of how it is defined under California law. Other State Privacy Laws do not use the term “sharing,” but describe the concept as processing for targeted advertising.
Groome Transportation® may participate in digital advertising networks and engage other advertising services to deliver advertising that is tailored to your interests. Some targeted advertising, such as participation in certain ad networks and advertising on social media platforms, could constitute sharing/using your personal information for digital advertising and a “sale” of personal information under State Privacy Laws.
At Groome Transportation®, we do not sell your personal information to any third party. We also do not “sell” or “share” Sensitive Personal Information (as defined under State Privacy Laws). Further, we do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors 16 years old or younger.
